- Check Your Insurance Policies. Be sure that your life health, home and auto policies are up to date, meet your current needs and standard of living.
- Make (or Review) Your Estate Plan. No one wants to think about death, but it’s important to make sure your loved ones will be cared for properly if you are not there to do so yourself. Read our November newsletter article, “Are You Ready?” with tips on getting your legal affairs in order.
- Get Out of Debt. Grab a pen and write out all of your debts on one piece of paper. List them in order from the smallest to the largest. Resolve to eliminate them one-by-one.
- Max Out Your Retirement Plan Contributions for 2010. That’s right, for 2010. You can make 2010 contributions to your IRA right up until April 15th, 2011. Why leave a tax deduction on the table?
